Life hit me with more than I thought I could carry — grief, loss, betrayal, heartbreak. It got to a point where I stopped showing up for myself completely. I stopped working, I stopped talking to people, I even stopped taking care of my body… and that included my hair.

It was dry, brittle, falling out, and honestly, I didn’t care. Until one day, I did.

In the quiet of that season, I started looking for small ways to feel like myself again. I tried things just to give my mind something to do — painting, working out, changing what I ate. I got really into clean, healthy foods, and one day I thought:

“What if I fed my hair the same way I was trying to feed my body?”

That’s where Evercrown started.

I couldn’t find the kind of internal, plant-based hair nutrition I was looking for, so I started researching and creating it myself. I didn’t want another oil or shampoo.
